You are invited to share your views on exciting plans by Persimmon Homes Charles Church for a new residential development on land to the west of High Sparrowmire, Kendal.
The site is allocated for up to 150 dwellings in the South Lakeland Local Plan (Policy LA2.1 West of High Sparrowmire) to help meet the need for new homes in the district.
Persimmon is proposing to deliver a range of high quality much needed homes, ranging from 1-5 bedrooms, alongside new areas of public open space and biodiversity enhancements.
This website presents details of the proposed development and provides you with the opportunity to give feedback on the scheme. Once this process is concluded, a detailed planning application will be submitted to Westmorland and Furness Council.

As part of the online consultation, we are asking members of the local community and other interested parties to take part in an online questionnaire. Please complete the feedback form provided on the Have Your Say section of this website.
Responses to this consultation are invited from now until 12:00pm on the 5th August 2024.
Your feedback will be considered before the scheme is finalised for submission to Westmorland and Furness.
Westmorland and Furness Council will provide another opportunity for you to comment on the proposals once the planning application has been submitted.
